Attorney Joseph Chiarelli of Hamden, CT; ethical troll

The state of Connecticut provided Gerald M. Beaudoin with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to disclose funds he received in settlement of client accident claims
  • Failed to keep client advised of status of matter
  • The two client settlement checks were in amounts of $20,000 and $25,000
  • Failed to adequately communicate with client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Joey practices at 2714 Whitney Avenue in Hamden, Connecticut.
