Attorney Robert Green of Sioux City, IA; slacker, repeat offender

The state of Iowa presented Robert W. Green with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from the University of South Dakota Law School.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

Bobby’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to serve defendant with lawsuit on behalf client
• Neglected client legal matter
• Failed to respond to client information requests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Bobby’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to timely administer an estate
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to decline or terminate representation when the representation will result in the violation of the Iowa Rules of Professional Conduct
• Knowingly disobeyed an obligation under the rules of a tribunal
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Bobby!)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Missed two scheduled court hearings on client’s behalf

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
