Attorney James Mayer of Minneapolis; disgusting thief

The state of Minnesota presented James Richard Mayer with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Misappropriated [stole] funds from a non-profit
• Forged signatures on various checks while serving as office of non-profit
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed costs of $900.00.

Because Attorney Misfits in Minnesota are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Jimmy was never criminally charged with grand theft and/or embezzlement.
