Attorney Michael Wallace of Ithaca, NY; thieving loser

The state of New York presented Michael J. Wallace with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Syracuse University School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  • Misappropriated [stole] client funds
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to maintain client funds in special account
  • Failed to maintain complete records of client funds
  • Made withdrawals by bank transfer without obtaining prior written approval of party entitled to the proceeds
  • Failed to render appropriate accounting of client funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2019), Mikey practices at 1756 Hanshaw Road in Ithaca, New York.
