Attorney Josephine Nwaigwe of Brooklyn, NY; ethical goblin

The state of New York presented Josephine Chinyere Nwaigwe with a law license in 1997 after she graduated from the University of London School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Josephine guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Josephine by gifting her with a complimentary censure.  

As we speak (ca. May 2019), Josephine practices at 2135 Caton Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.
