Attorney Maureen McNamara of West Haverstraw, NY; ethical dwarf

The state of New York presented Maureen Margaret McNamara with a law license in 1971 after she graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Maureen guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Maureen by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2019), Maureen practices in West Haverstraw, New York.
