Attorney Paul Micho of Baldwinsville, NY; slacker, loser

The state of New York presented Paul Scott Micho with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from Union University School of Law.

The Departmental Disciplinary Committee of the Fourth Judicial District found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Entered into an arrangement for, charging or collecting a fee in a domestic relations matter without a written retainer agreement signed by the client and setting forth in plain language the nature of the relationship and the details of the fee arrangement
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in a lengthy course of conduct intended to deceive a tribunal
• Severely neglected a client matter that resulted in substantial harm to the client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Committee punished Paulie by gifting him with a  complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license effective February 1, 2019.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Paulie will resume his practice of law in January 2020 in Baldwinsville, New York.
