Attorney R. James Steiner of Concord, NH; ethical gnome

The state of New Hampshire presented R. James Steiner with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Widener University School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Initiated an action that was frivolous
  • Persisted in litigating an issue that did not have a basis in law or fact
  • Violated duties he owed to the legal system
  • Conduct caused actual injury to third person
  • Injured person incurred unnecessary attorney fees defending against frivolous action
  • Conduct wasted valuable court resources

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Conduct Committee punished Jimmy by gifting him with complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Jimmy practices with the Steiner Law Office PLLC at 30 Oakmont Drive in Concord, New Hampshire.
