Attorney William Shostak of Chandler, AZ; cheating loser

The state of Arizona presented William D. Shostak with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from Arizona State University School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Billy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Permitted a paralegal licensed as an attorney in Mexico to engage in the unauthorized practice of law
  • Permitted his paralegal to perform most, if not all, of the legal services related to the representation of a client
  • Failed to supervise his non-lawyer assistants
  • Failed to reasonably communicate with his client
  • Charged client unreasonable fees for the legal services performed [cheater]

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed costs of the disciplinary proceeding in the amount of $1,200.00.

In addition, Jimmy was ordered to pay restitution of $2,500.00 to his client [victim].

As we speak (ca. May 2019) Billy practices with Shostak Law PLLC at 1820 East Ray Road in Chandler, Arizona.
