Attorney Sergei Orel of Fort Lee, NJ; slacker

The state of New Jersey presented Sergei Orel with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law. 

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Sergei guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Provided inadequate representation of a client in an immigration matter
• Failed to promptly return client file following the termination of the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Sergei by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2018) Sergei practices in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
