Attorney Lise Witt of Mesa, AZ; convicted felon

The state of Arizona presented Lise R. Witt with a law license in 1990 after she graduated from Arizona State University School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Lise guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Over 4-years engaged in fraudulent conduct involving theft of public monies by fraudulently billing Medicare for services not provided
• Incorporated and acted as a statutory agent for the straw corporation that was established for the sole purpose of generating false expenses reimbursable under Medicare’s cost-reimbursement system
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Convicted of a Class D felony, for violating Title 18 U.S.C. § 1347, Health Care Fraud
• Sentenced to three years of probation with six months of home detention, and a $5,000 fine
• Exhibited dishonest or selfish motive

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Lise by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2019) Lise practices with LisaLaw LLC at 1350 East McKellips Road in Mesa, Arizona.
