Attorney Douglas Younglove of Phoenix; liar, repeat offender

The state of Arizona presented Douglas S. Younglove with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from California Western University School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Doug guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Doug’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Doug!)
  • Engaged in bad-faith obstruct of disciplinary proceeding by intentionally failing to comply with rules or orders of the disciplinary agency (Up yours, said Doug!)
  • As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Doug by gifting him with a complimentary censure and ordered to pay $730.51 for the costs of the ethics proceedings.

Doug’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to appear for two pretrial conferences in client’s DUI matter
  • Ignorantly filed a motion to continue second DUI client conference that he’d already missed
  • Failed to notify client of court’s order he pay a $500 bond before the court would quash arrest warrant issued due to the client’s failure to appear at a previous matter
  • When client later appeared in court on a matter unrelated to the DUI case and without any knowledge of court order to pay $500 bond she was immediately arrested
  • Lied to Judge Psareas that he should reset hearing due to his tardiness because Judge Magestic who was his golfing buddy would agree to a postponement
  • When Judge Magestic heard of Doug’s golfing story, she advised him to self-report his lie to the State Bar because (1) you may have appeared before me but I have no recollection of you, 2) I am not your ‘golfing companion,’ and 3) I do not play golf”
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to properly supervise office staff

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Doug by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license and ordered to pay $1,200.00 for the costs of the ethics proceedings.

As we speak (ca. April 2019) Doug  practices with the Younglove Law Firm at 125 East Coronado in Phoenix, Arizona.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Doug fails to mention his egregious misconduct as aforementioned on his self-serving website at www.younglovelawfirm.com. Apparently, Doug decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients so as to not limit his future victim pool.
