Attorney Alton Williams of Raleigh, NC; slacker, loser

The state of North Carolina provided Alton R. Williams with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Alton guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Neglected a client’s personal injury case by not communicating with the subrogation claim holder and the client about funds held in his trust account
• Failed to advise client of his need to appear for a deposition
• Failed to keep client informed of status of his case

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Alton by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2019) Alton practices with The Law Office of Alton R. Williams at 4030 Wake Forest Road in Raleigh, North Carolina.
