Attorney Brent King of Cornelius, NC; check bouncing loser

The state of North Carolina provided Brent F. King with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Wake Forest University Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Brent guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Violated multiple trust account rules
  • Wrote at least two checks on insufficient funds bank account (rubber)
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to maintain proper records for general trust accounts
  • Failed to maintain accurate client ledgers

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Brent by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Brent.

And lastly, because Attorney Misfits in North Carolina are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Billy was never criminally charged with writing bad checks.

As we speak (ca. July 2019) Brent practices with The Law Offices of Brent F. King PLLC at 16930 West Catawba Avenue in Cornelius , North Carolina.
