Attorney John Lafferty Jr. of Lincolnton, NC; ethical gnome

The state of North Carolina provided John O. Lafferty Jr. with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file required estate inventory
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Johnny!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. April 2019) Johnny practices at 212 East Main Street in Lincolnton, North Carolina.
