Today’s “Arrogant Avarice” Award goes to Texas State Sen. Troy Fraser

Congratulations to….

Sen. Troy Fraser
Today’s Texas “Arrogant Avarice” Award Winner

Troy Fraser was successful in duping the voters to elect him to the 24th State Senate seat in 1996. Arrogant Troy is a multi-millionaire who is the founder of Fraser Industries; one of the nations’ largest manufacturers and recyclers of wooden pallets.

According to Greedy Troy’s 2009 Financial Statement he earned nearly $1 million dollars from various investments, which are set forth at the end of this article. The value of Troy’s stock, mutual fund and bonds is hard to estimate but it is likely in the millions of dollars. Some of those stock holdings are listed in Text Box 1 at the end of this article.

Despite being a multi-millionaire, Greedy Troy decided to hose his unsuspecting campaign contributors for the annual dues/fees to be a member of the Escondido Golf Preserve, which is an exclusive club located in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.

Since the Club’s opening in 2007, Troy has billed his campaign $19,110.44 for his personal membership dues as set forth in Text Box 2 at the end of this article. Despite earning over $1million in 2009, Troy the Loser felt compelled to stick-it-too his contributors to cover the $7,500 in membership dues to the Escondido Country Club.

In addition to the above hosing, Troy also clipped his unsuspecting contributors for nearly $14,000 to provide him with a luxury Lexus and another $28,875 for the cost of his luxury condo in Austin. What a Guy, right?

Not only does Tory give a new meaning to “Cheapskate,” he’s an embarrassment to every well-intentioned legislator throughout the country that has engaged in the same kind of conduct.

Congrats Chris; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Texas’ most greedy public officials; you are far too humble.
