Attorney Adam Wang of Pleasanton, CA; ethical troll

The state of California provided Adam Q. Wang with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Villanova University School of Law.

The California State Bar Court found Adam guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Displayed lack of candor and cooperation to victims of of misconduct
  • Failed to return client phone calls
  • Failed to promptly respond to client information requests
  • Failed to take action to enforce money judgment on client’s behalf
  • Failed to to protect client interests upon termination
  • Entered into fee agreement that prohibited the client from settling or dismissing the case unless Adam agreed was against public policy and constituted overreaching
  • Provided ethics investigators with phony copy of fee agreement (not the original) that constituted overreaching

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Adam by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Adam practices with the Law Office of Adam Wang at 4160 Hacienda Drive in Pleasanton, California.
