U.S. Magistrate Judge Camille Velez-Rive of Puerto Rico; moronic boob

The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico presented Camille L. Velez-Rive with a law license in 1977 after she graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law.

In one matter, Camille presided over involving the return of a child to Argentina under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. Lisandro Jonathan Darin initiated the proceedings against Lua Cecilia Olivero-Huffman seeking the return of their son ("LAD") to Argentina from the United States.

In furtherance of an ongoing effort to establish her gross incompetence, Camille ruled there was no wrongful detention in the U.S. of A. in denying Lisandro’s action seeking the return of her son to Argentina.

Subsequently, Lisandro’s attorney appealed Camille’s asinine dismissal of her case to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. That court ruled that said dismissal was erroneous in In vacating Camille’s order, the Court of Appeals stated in part:

  • “There is no evidence in the entire record to plausibly support the district court's finding that the parties arrived at a mutual intent to change LAD's habitual residence from Argentina to the United States.”
  • “The record is also devoid of any objective facts showing a change in habitual residence.”
  • “To be clear, the district court's conclusion that the Puerto Rico courts have jurisdiction to determine permanently the best interests of the child and to rule on any controversies between the parties regarding parental custody and visitation rights cannot stand. Our decision today voids this determination.”
  • “It is the Argentine courts that have jurisdiction.”
  • “There is no reason to believe an Argentine court will not make a custody determination in a responsible manner.”

Clearly, Camille doesn’t much give a damn if hier asinine/incompetent rulings are reversed on Appeal because it doesn’t cost her anything financially and she knows for a fact that no federal judge has ever been removed/impeached for being incompetent.

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Camille continues to sit as a U.S. District Court judge for the District of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
