Judge Lynn Mays of Baltimore, MD; ethical gremlin

The state Maryland presented Lynn Stewart Mays with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

The Commission on Judicial Disabilities found Judge Mays guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with the law
  • Failed to act in manner promoting public confidence in the judiciary
  • Failed to act with dignity and patience when dealing with jurors
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Lynn!)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct and lying, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme Court punished Judge Mays by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Judge Mays continues to sit as a Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge in Baltimore, Maryland.
