Attorney Theresa Ashley of Bay City, TX; ethical dwarf

The State of Texas presented Theresa Ann Dean with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from South Texas University School of Law.

The District 5 Grievance Committee found Terry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to hold client funds in client trust account
• Failed to disburse funds in trust account only to persons entitled to receive them by virtue of he representation or by law
• Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Terry by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
