Attorney Denean Russo of Lebanon, PA; convicted felon

The State of Rhode Island  presented Denean M. Russo with a law license in 1990 after she graduated from the University Miami School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Denean guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Denean struck a pedestrian while driving home that was walking his dog along the side of the road, causing the pedestrian to suffer personal injuries
• She stopped her car, exchanged words and told the pedestrian she was heading to her nearby home and would return shortly, but she never returned to the scene of the accident
• When Cranston police arrived at her home, Denean was nowhere to be found
• She was later charged with one felony count of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in personal injury
• Pled nolo contendere (guilty in effect) to the felony count of leaving the scene of an accident and was sentenced to a five-year term of probation and had her license revoked for one year

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Rhode Island Supreme Court punished Denean by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. January 2019), Denean practices with DMR Law at 20 Oak Knoll Circle in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
