Attorney Daniel Lounsbury of Salem, OR; charging excessive fee, loser
The State Bar charged attorney Daniel Lounsbury with several counts of misconduct, which included the following:
When Danny refused to return the unearned fee, his client submitted the claim to the State Bar’s arbitration program; however, Danny didn’t cooperate by reimbursing the client. The client was then forced to file a lawsuit against Danny Boy, which resulted in him obtaining a judgment for the $983 that Danny owed him.
Clearly, Danny’s legal acumen leaves much to be desired. If an attorney has to be forced to refund $983 that he never earned, then its pretty clear that he’s a certified loser, right?
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar punished Danny by gifting him with a reprimand.
As we speak (ca. Jan 2012) Danny practices law at 1130 Liberty Street SE in Salem.
