Attorney Peter Carini of Medford, OR; liar, thief

In the recent past, Peter Carini was charged with a variety of misconduct by the Oregon State Bar, some of which is as follows:

  1. Collected an excessive fee (cheated client)
  2. Failed to deposit client funds in a trust account
  3. Failed to refund unearned fees to client
  4. Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
  5. Failed to keep client informed about status of his legal case
  6. Engaged in an obvious conflict of interest
  7. Knowingly made a false statement of material fact to Bar investigator (perjury)
Subsequently the Bar found Peter guilty of the above misconduct and ruled that his conduct involved dishonesty and misrepresentations. Additionally, he was found to have knowingly failed to respond to lawful demands for information from a disciplinary authority.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar punished Peter by gifting him with 90-days of probation. What an unmitigated joke, right?

As we speak (ca. Jan 2012) Peter practices law at 800 W. 8th Street in Medford, Oregon.
