Attorney John Klor of Lake Oswego, OR; thieving loser

The State of Oregon presented John Klor with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from Drake University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Charged a clearly excessive fee (thief)
• Raised hourly rate by $30 without any notice to client
• Billed client for time spent collecting his fees from the client
• Charged fees for preparing guarantees for third parties obligating them to pay his fee
• Charged client and guarantees for phone calls, conferences and correspondence relating to guarantee, payment, and collection of his
• Charged fees for preparing mortgage on client property in Hawaii for the purpose of securing payment of his fees
• Charged for correspondence, telephone calls and legal services from an attorney in Hawaii that Wally hired to help prepare documents to obtain an interest in his client’s property in Hawaii to pay his
• Charged for time he spent in attempting to personally serve former client with a third party guarantor with promissory note and mortgage securing his fee by traveling from his office to their home in Vernonia, Oregon
• Charged a second time, for personally delivering the note and mortgage to the third party guarantor in Vernonia
• Charged for the cost of recording the note and mortgage in Hawaii including the cost of overnight delivery of the documents to Hawaii
• Charged for investigation of a shooting of the client relating to a possible personal injury claim, preparation of memorandums, conferences with the client, review of correspondence, all in relation to a possible personal injury claim unrelated to the martial dissolution matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect Johnny’s law firm fails to make any mention of his egregious misconduct as aforementioned on its website at www.wkmcblaw.com. Apparently, the firm chose to conceal this highly relevant information so as to not limit its future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. July 2019) Johnny practices with Wallace Klor Mann Capener & Bishop PC at 5800 Meadows Road in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
