Attorney Sheldon Burnett of Bay Harbor Islands, FL; bullying loser

The State of Florida presented Sheldon J. Burnett  with a law license in 1966 after he graduated from the University of Miami School of Law.

The Florida Bar Association found Sheldon guilty of the following misconduct.

• Continued to contact a represented party, even after opposing counsel directed that all communications come through him
• Sheldon contacted the represented woman directly and did not copy her attorney on many of his communications
• Correspondence to represented women referenced settlement offers, the substance and merits of the lawsuit and possible legal theories and defenses
• Many of Paulie’s communications contained a threatening or harassing tone

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Sheldon by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
