Attorney Troy Gleason of Chicago; lying fraudster

The state of Illinois presented Troy Lee Gleason with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from the John Marshall Law School.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Troy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Altered credit counseling certificates that he attached to 17 different bankruptcy petitions in order to conceal from the bankruptcy court that his credit counseling certificates had expired due to his delay in filing the petitions
  • Made statements of material fact or law to a tribunal which the lawyer knows or reasonably should have known are false
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Knowingly made false statements of material fact or law to a United States Trustee

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Troy practices with Gleason and Gleason LLC at 77 West Washington Street in Chicago, Illinois.

CAUTION:  Troy does not carry legal malpractice insurance
