Attorney Robert Carmen-Montes of Boston; repeat offender, slacker

The state of Massachusetts presented Robert Brian Carmel-Montes with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Northeastern University Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to take notice of the alien warning on his client’s docket sheet
  • Failed to obtain deportation documents that the judge requested
  • Failed to take further steps on behalf of his client violated
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to respond to client information request
  • Failed to return unearned portion of fee upon termination

As one would suspect, this isn’t Bobby’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2018) Bobby practices with The Carmel Law Group at 15 Broad Street in Boston, Massachusetts.

CAUTION: Bobby does not carry legal malpractice insurance
