Attorney Andrew Vogelbach of Altadena, CA; convicted druggie, repeater

The state of California provided Andrew Michael Vogelbach with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from Southwestern University School of Law.

The California State Bar Court found Andy guilty of the following misconduct.

Andy’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Misconduct significantly harmed a client
• Engaged in multiple acts of wrongdoing
• Failed to render appropriate accounting to client of fees received
• Willfully violated law re: loan modification representation
• Created or caused to be created a affordable home program request for mortgage assistance wherein Andy signed or caused to be signed under penalty of perjury, a simulation of his client’s signature
• Submitted inaccurate information when filing mortgage assistance application
• Misrepresented [lied] to lender that the submitted documents were accurate when Andy knew or was grossly negligent in not knowing the documents had not been reviewed or signed by his client and contained inaccurate information
• Failed to promptly refund any portion of $3,000 fee he had not earned (cheater)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

Andy’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Charged with one count of transportation of cocaine, a felony
• While felony cocaine charge was pending, arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, a felony
• Sentenced to 16-months in the country prison

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license and assessed costs of $7,059.00.
