Solicitor Peter Brown of Queensland, Australia; ethical troll

The Law Society presented Peter Mitchell Brown with a law license in 1990.

The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct
  • Failed to act in client’s best interests in not investing estate funds
  • Failed to provide costs agreement to client
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Borrowed funds from elderly client who was vulnerable

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Queensland Bar punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a $4,000 penalty.

As we speak (ca. November 2018), Pete practices with Browns Lawyers 79 West Burleigh Road BURLEIGH HEADS 4220 in Queensland, Australia
