Attorney Jeremiah Meyer-O’Day of Lancaster, WI; lying loser

The state of Wisconsin presented Jeremiah Meyer O’Day with a law license in 2013 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Jeremiah guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to certify his compliance with the trust account record-keeping requirements
  • Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
  • Misrepresented [lied] to coworker that he rescheduled his cases and took time off for most of the days he was suspended
  • Failed to keep the client reasonably informed regarding the status of the case
  • Failed to respond to the client’s telephone calls requesting information
  • Failed to provide reasonable notice to the client of the termination
  • Failed to take reasonable steps to protect the client’s interests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Jeremiah by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2018), Jeremiah practices in Lancaster, Wisconsin.
