Attorney James Rosenberger of Edmonds, WA; slacker, repeat offender

The state of Washington presented James J. Rosenberger with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 2-month suspension of his law license.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to maintain required trust account records
• Failed to decline or terminate representation when required to so act
• Failed to expedite client’s litigation
• Failed to properly supervise office staff

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 9-month suspension of his law license.
