Attorney Joey Oquist of St. Petersburg, FL; ethical goblin

The state of Florida presented Joey Dean Oquist with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Stetson University School of Law.

The State Bar of Florida found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to keep a client reasonably informed of matter
  • Failed to properly supervise a subordinate

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 7-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2019) Joey practices at 1135 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street North in St. Petersburg, Florida
