Attorney Douglas Booth of Santa Fe, NM; ethical elf

The state of New Mexico presented Douglas Booth with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Peoples College of Law in Los Angeles. Peoples is a fourth tier, unaccredited school dedicated to accepting losers that could not get accepted at mainstream schools like the University of New Mexico, University of Idaho or the University of California Davis.

The New Mexico Disciplinary Board found Doug guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Involved in various trust account violations
  • Failed to protect the interests of his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court punished Les by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 18-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Doug.

As we speak (ca. October 2018) Doug practices at 1223 South Saint Francis Drive in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
