The state of New Mexico presented Thomas Spratley with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law.

The New Mexico Disciplinary Board found Tony guilty of the following misconduct.

• Numerous violations of trust account rules

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 12-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Tony.
