Attorney Matthew Wildermuth of Bolingbrook, IL; ethical goblin

The state of Illinois presented Matthew Robert Wildermuth with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from John Marshall School of Law.

The Disciplinary Commission found Matty guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, while he was handling a handling loan modification and foreclosure defense cases, Matty did not personally explain to certain clients their chances for success or consult with them to ensure that they understood their legal options.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2019) Matty practices with The Law Offices of Matthew R. Wildermuth at 747 E. Boughton Road in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
