Attorney Sonya Whitaker of Rocky Mount, NC; lying loser

The state of North Carolina provided Sonya Lakesha Whitaker with a law license in 1999 after she graduated from the University of North Carolina Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Sonya guilty of the following misconduct.

• Lied to State Bar that she didn’t have any ethics complaints pending against her
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Sonya by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2019) Sonya practices 3208-A Sunset Avenue in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
