Attorney Marc Doumbas of Avon Lake, OH; convicted of bribery

The state of Ohio presented Marc George Doumbas law license in 2001 after he graduated from Cleveland State University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Marc guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of two felony counts of bribery
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Sentenced to one-year in prison on bribery convictions and fined $20,000
  • Attempted to bribe and/or was involved in an attempt to bribe two sexual assault victims on behalf of his clients
  • Bribe was meant to have sexual assault victims make requests that the sentencing judge not impose jail time on the convicted rapist, a bribe the victims refused to take
  • Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of conduct
  • Failed to pay $20,000 criminal fine lodged against him

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Marc by gifting him with a complimentary indefinite suspension of his law license, meaning he will be able have it reinstated at a later date.

As we speak (ca. October 2018), Marc will resume his law practice at 33200 Electric Blvd in Avon Lake, Ohio when the Supreme Court reinstates his law license.
