Court Commissioner Robert McSorley of Los Angeles; moronic loser

The state of California presented Robert A. McSorley (RAM) with a law license in 1973 after she graduated from Puget Sound University School of Law.

In November 2004, Bobby succeeded in duping the voters in Los Angeles County into electing him as a Los Angeles County Superior Court Commissioner.

In one matter, Bobby ordered a defendant who was pulled over for speeding in Lancaster to appear Michael Antonovich Antelope Valley Courthouse in Lancaster despite the fact that he lived a mere two miles from the Metropolitan Courthouse in Los Angeles. When the defendant asked Bobby to have his case transferred to Los Angeles, he denied that request.

Subsequently, the defendant appealed Bobby’s asinine order by filing a Writ of Mandamus with the Court of Appeals, mandating that Bobby transfer the case to the Los Angeles Superior Court. In granting the Mandamus action, the Court of Appeal stated in part:

“The county seat of Los Angeles County is the City of Los Angeles….Petitioner established he ‘resides, or [his] principal place of employment is located, closer to the county seat than to the magistrate nearest or most accessible to the place where the arrest is made.’…Accordingly, respondent [Bobby] did not have discretion to deny petitioner’s motion to set the place for his trial in the county seat.”

Of course Bobby the Moron doesn’t much give a damn about being spanked on reversal by the Court of Appeal because no judge in California has ever been tossed from the bench by the Judicial Commission for being a Moron.

As we speak (ca. November 2018), Bobby continues to sit as a Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner in Los Angeles, California.
