Attorney David Speckman of San Diego; criminal

The state of California provided David Leon Speckman with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law.

The State Bar Court has charged Davey with engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place in Las Vegas.

• Criminally charged with insurance fraud, a felony
• False reporting of cause of accident to insurer, a felony
• Criminally charged with attempted insurance fraud, a felony
• Criminally charged with depriving another of intangible property, a felony
• Criminally charged with attempted theft

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Davey for his egregious misconduct as aforementioned. At worst he’ll likely receive a complimentary reprimand or a 30-day suspension of his law license.
