Attorney C. Mignonne Griffing of Shreveport, LA; ethical troll

The state of Louisiana presented C. Mignonne Griffing with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Louisiana State University Law School.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Griffing guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as a prosecutor.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to uphold the duties of a prosecutor
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Professional Conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Griffing by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2019) Griffing practices with as an Assistant U.S. Attorney at the U.S. Attorney’s Office at 300 Fannin Street in Shreveport, Louisiana.
