The state of Louisiana presented Donald L. Mayeux with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from Louisiana State University School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Donnie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation 
• Committed a criminal act reflecting adversely on the lawyer's honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer
• Converted client funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Donnie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2019) Donnie practices at 211 North 2^nd Street in Eunice, Louisiana.
