Attorney Joseph Rome of New Orleans; slacker, loser

The state of Louisiana presented Joseph A. Rome with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Louisiana State University School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to properly withdraw representation
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators, (Screw you, said Joey!)
  • Violated duties he owed to his client
  • Failed to comply with subpoena to appear at ethics hearing (Up yours, said Joey!)
  • Misconduct caused injury to be sustained by his client
  • Failed to adequately communicate with client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2019) Joey practices with Rome & Rome at 4118 Copernicus Street in New Orleans, Louisiana.
