Attorney Kevin Richardson of New York City; greedy loser

The state of New York presented Kevin Scot Richardson with a law license in 1993 after she graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law.

First and foremost, it should be noted that Kevin is laughingly in charge of prosecuting police discipline cases.

In one matter, the City of New York is investigating a charge that Kevin improperly used at least three NYPD cars since his appointment to his $228,000-per-year job in 2014, including a 2014 Ford Taurus, a 2015 Ford and a 2016 Dodge Charger. (Graham Rayman, New York Daily News)

Of the three cars in question, Kevin is only allowed to use the cars to drive home and to work, and to official NYPD events and meetings.

The investigation began after investigators received anonymous letters that Kevin was using the cars for out-of-state trips, vacations and other jaunts hundreds of miles away from New York City. The complainants also stated that the cars were fitted with lights and sirens, equipment that isn’t something that was necessary for a police department attorney.

Despite only living less than 30miles from police headquarters, Kevin put thousands of miles on the three cars each and every years. In addition, he had the cars fueled full three times a week at NYPD pumps.

He also used the cars and his NYPD driver (taxpayer provided) to pick up and drop off friends and family at the airport and other venues.

All that’s left now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Kevin by the enablers for Police Misconduct working at the Police Department.

It would be truly astonishing if the New York State Appellate Division takes any action against Kevin’s law license even if he is found guilty of defrauding the City of New York.

As we speak (ca. August 2018), Kevin is still employed as a Commissioner for the City of New York Police Department.
