Attorney Dale Russell of Deer Park, WA; lying loser

The state of Idaho presented Dale L. Russell with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law.

The Idaho Bar Counsel found Dale guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Filed appointment of resident agent for Wisconsin estate which contained an inaccurate [false] statement concerning his wife’s eligibility to act as the resident agent in the estate case.
  • Ordered personal representative of estate to delegate her rights and responsibilities to his wife
  • Made his wife the sole trustee of the special needs trust
  • Failed to advise personal representative that
  • personal  representative  that  the appointment of his wife as trustee was contrary to the terms of the will and the duties of the personal representative
  • Also represented [lied] to a counseling center and its lawyers that his wife was the legitimate trustee of the special needs trust
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Represented an incompetent person in a guardianship proceeding without the required prior court appointment
  • Attempted to obtain signature of the personal representative on an affidavit purporting to show she had declined to serve as trustee of the special needs trust when she had not [attempted subornation of perjury]
  • Represented multiple clients with concurrent conflicts of interest

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Idaho Supreme Court punished Dale by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Idaho are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Dale was never criminally charged with subornation of perjury.

As we speak (ca. September 2018), Dale practices with the Russell Law Firm in Deer Park, Washington.
