Attorney Stuart Starr of Plantation, FL; ethical leprechaun

The state of Florida provided Stuart Jared Starr with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from University of Detroit Mercy Law School.

The State Bar Court of Florida found Stu guilty of the following misconduct.

• After receipt of nonrefundable retainer, failed to complete task
• Transferred funds out of client’s bank account without permission
• Never submitted loan modification to mortgage lender on client’s behalf

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Stu by gifting him with a complimentary 90-days suspension of his law license effective June 24, 2018.

As we speak (ca. November 2018), Stu will have his license reinstated in late September  2018 and will again be practicing with the Law Offices of Stuart J. Starr PA at 5241 SW 9^th Street in Plantation, Florida.
