Attorney Carl Gibson of Winchester, KY; slacker, loser

The state of Kentucky presented Carl Wayne Gibson with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from the University of Louisville Law School.

The Kentucky Bar Association found Carl guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Never filed motion to put divorce matter on court docket in order to have a Decree of Dissolution of Marriage to be entered
• Repeatedly responded to client info requests by lying
• Failed to respond to repeated client information requests
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty and misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kentucky Supreme Court the punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 181-day suspension of his law license. He was also ordered to reimburse four clients a total of $9,500 in fees he was paid that he was not lawfully entitled too.

As we speak (July 2018), Joey practices with the Law Office of Carl W. Gibson at 47 South Main Street in Winchester, Kentucky.
