Attorney John De Hoogh of Sheldon, IA; ethical goblin

The state of Iowa provided John Thomas Bribriesco with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of Iowa School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel of the Iowa Supreme Court found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in egregious conflict of interest
  • Represented husband while partner represented wife in divorce matter

As one would suspect, this isn’t Kevin’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Appel Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonishment for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September  2018), Johnny practices with the Whorley Heidman Law Firm PLLC at 934 Third Avenue in Sheldon, Iowa.

As one would suspect, the Whorley Heidman Law Firm fails to disclose the misconduct of Johnny as set forth above on its self-service website at www.heidmanlaw.com/our-people. Apparently, the firm decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients in order to not limit its future victim pool.
