Attorney David Ordway of Bridgeport, CT; scofflaw

The state of Connecticut provided David J. Ordway with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the University of Miami School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

In addition to the misconduct set forth below, Davey’s law license was suspended two (2) times for his failure to pay an annual fee amounting to a measly $75 to the Client Security Fund, which was set up to reimburse clients who were cheated by their attorneys.

  • Assisted non-attorney in engaging in the illegal practice of law
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Davey by gifting him a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2018), Davey practices at 3530 Old Town Road in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
