Attorney Mike Meir of Baltimore, MD; lying Dumbo

The state of Maryland presented Mike Meir with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from American University Law School. Hong also received a law licenses from the District of Columbia, New York and Virginia.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
  • Knowingly making a false statement of fact or law to a tribunal
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact in connection with a bar admission application or disciplinary matter (Screw you, said Mikey!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Hong by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca.  March 2019) Hong practices with Shulman, Rogers, Gandal, Pordy & Ecker, P.A. at 12505 Park Potomac Avenue in Potomac, Maryland.
