Attorney George Harper of Upper Marlboro, MD; ethical dwarf

The state of Maryland presented George Aubrey Harper with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Maryland Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Georgie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to deposit his client’s fee, paid in advance, into his attorney trust account without first obtaining his client’s informed and mandated written consent

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Georgie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
